Information on disposal & the environment (WEEE / packaging)
As a manufacturer of medical products, the BHM-Tech Production Company m.b.H. assumes responsibility for the entire life cycle of our products and their packaging.
To save resources, we rely on recyclable packaging materials. To fulfill our legal obligations regarding recycling and disposal, we participate in the collection and recycling system of ARA (Altstoff Recycling Austria AG). Please separate the packaging materials that are generated (e.g., cardboard packaging, paper, plastics) and take them to the local waste collection systems.
2. Disposal of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
Electrical and electronic devices must not be disposed of in normal household waste after their lifespan. The symbol of the crossed-out trash can on our products or their packaging indicates this.
Waste electrical and electronic equipment contains valuable raw materials, but also potentially hazardous substances. As end users, you are legally required to separate the waste from the unsorted household waste and to dispose of it free of charge at local municipal collection points or recycling yards.
For B2B customers & professional partners:
The disposal of professionally used electrical waste (B2B) is carried out in cooperation with regional waste disposal partners such as the UDB (Environmental Service Burgenland) and in accordance with the respective national regulations.
